Bohuslav Reynek was a Czech graphic artist, poet and translator whose graphic letters can be seen as a visual transcription of the poetic language. In the 1930s, he gradually moved away from charcoal and pastel drawing and began to use the technique of drypoint and etching. Just as he left traces on the printing plate, in his poetic work we find a poem about the traces of the unknown with which we walk and search. The graphic sheet is accompanied by a dated and signed New Year's card on special paper from Petrkov, where Bohuslav Reynek stayed. Published: Chalupa, P.: Bohuslav Reynek. 2011. Arbor vitae. p. 365. Framed under anti-reflective glass with UV filter.
