Blue Car is one of the prints where the machine as a sophisticated symbol plays a central role in Kamil Lhoták's art world. Lithography attracted him with its artistic essence and the possibility of translating all the details into the final work. The Blue Car represents a manuscript example of the translation of drawing into graphics. The red and white cone is perhaps a hint of a race, the stagecoach is also positioned similarly to the race, but the car is empty. Lhoták's name has become synonymous with the milieu of modern civilization and its attributes, seen with admiration, poetic fascination and a certain amount of romantic nostalgia. The work is listed in the monograph Kamil Lhoták - Graphic Works in the Context of Other Works under catalogue number G 395. Newly framed under anti-reflective glass with UV filter.
