Jiří Anderle (1936) IL SORRISO - SMILE

A graphic work inspired by Alesso Baldovinetti, an important representative of the early Florentine Renaissance, with a visual quotation of the brocade from The Lady in Yellow Dress dated to around 1465. The phased portrait captures the flow of time and the plot that the original portrait does not contain. Jiří Anderle is currently one of the most important Czech graphic artists, and the role of man, be it mythological, artistic, historical or social, has repeatedly come to the center of his work.
