Adolf Born (1930 - 2016) CIRCE

Painter, draftsman, illustrator, graphic artist, cartoonist and costume designer Adolf Born became famous for his unmistakable style and work, in which his distinctive sense of humor intertwines with details drawn from the author's bottomless reservoir of imagination and fantasy. Kirke was a powerful witch, the daughter of the god Helios and the sea nymph, and she kept domesticated lions who lived with her on the island. Originally, however, they could also have been sailors, which she had magically transformed into lions.
