The founder of Czech tapestry in Valašské meziříčí and painter Rudolf Schlattauer became famous especially for his collaboration with leading Czech artists in the Art Nouveau period (Hanuš Schweiger, Dušan Jurkovič and Jan Kotěra) through tapestries, screens, and covers. The screen with four parts bendable to both sides captures four woven seasons framed in a silver line. The design was made by Jan Preisler's student, Rudolf Livora. "The author's work with flatness and attention to detail excels in the narrow vertical format of the four seasons." (p. 35) Published and reproduced by: LEHMANNOVÁ, Martina, Olga MEHEŠOVÁ, Pavel ŠOPÁK and Kamila VALOUŠKOVÁ. The work and its prototype: 120 years of the Moravian tapestry manufactory. Valašské Meziříčí: Moravian Tapestry Manufactory, spol. s r.o., [2017] p. 34.
