Artwork Road to village bears clear signs of work of Bohumír Dvorský, Czech landscape painter. In a way he piles up the paint on a canvas is a trace of Paul Cézanne whom he admired deeply. Even if the houses in the village make an impression of a focal geometric point of the composition, there are wild intersecting brush strokes in the skies flying above the suggested treetops and also above a colourful meadow with flashes of emerald green. In the perception and use of colours of Bohumír Dvorský, is an extraordinary essence of being adjusted by unrestrained dynamics of brush strokes. Bohumír Dvorský should have become a bookbinder, but he was attracted by painting. His Road to village probably reflects his period of stay in Moravia where he painted near Svatý Kopeček and in Haná.
