Zbuzany marble. The stone comes from the now closed Mramorka quarry near Zbuzany and Ořech. Jiří Seifert had an intense interest in marble from the area around Prague. Zbuzany marble intrigued him due to its green color, but he used it only rarely in his work – in this Column. The sculpture is from the family's estate. Exhibited at: Benedikt Rejt Gallery in Louny, 2002. The entire proceeds from the sale will be used for the preparation of a monograph of Jiří Seifert published by Arthouse Hejtmánek for the exhibition at Museum Kampa planned for April 2019.
