EMPIRE CABINET

The exceptionally crafted empire cabinet is a combination of timeless design and elegant empire mannerism. The sides of the columns topped with Corinthian capitals, flanked by acanthus pattern in gilt wood, the centre of the door with original keys is fitted with fire gilded forging, the top drawer with tapers. The interior of the cabinet is a combination of several materials, the opening top is covered in blackened leather, the set of fourteen drawers with handles in blackened wood is separated by pilasters with exceptionally well-crafted caryatids. This is a truly rare and designer piece of furniture, designed for the most demanding clientele of its time. Completely restored.
