Hand knotted wool carpet on wool warp. A collector's jewel whose iconography and colours clearly refer to the region of Melas, known in antiquity as Milas. Professionally cleaned on both sides, with old hanging rings on the reverse. A museum or collection artifact for connoisseurs of old carpets.
