A statue of a woman with allegorical attributes in stylized drapery and a throne. In her hand holding a bundle resembling fasces. Vojtěch Sucharda collaborated on the sculptural works of his brother Stanislav, e.g. on the monument to František Palacký, the Fanta building of the Franz Josef railway station, the New Town Hall. From 1907 he collaborated with the architect Kamil Hulbert on the completion of St. Vitus Cathedral at Prague Castle. For the cathedral he created 250 neo-Gothic column heads, a carved chest, several stone sculptures and two high reliefs depicting the builders of the dome on the facade of the building. Vojtěch Sucharda also worked on the decoration of several churches and buildings throughout Bohemia. From 1913 he participated, among other things, in the sculptural decoration of the Crown Palace in Prague. The work on offer features a figure in a stylized Art Nouveau form, as in Sucharda's brother's famous realization of the two frontal enthroned women (an allegory of Industry and History) of today's Museum of East Bohemia designed by Jan Kotěra.
