The plaster model for the realized wooden relief is the work of a sculptor who was also a successful typographer and teacher. Jiří Bradáček studied at UMPRUM under Prof. Karel Dvořák and was a member of the Krok 57 group. At the beginning of his work he was influenced by the cubism and social civilism of Otto Gutfreund and the sculptures of Emil Filla. Initially, he worked in the Duchcov porcelain factory Royal Dux, for which he designed small sculptures. In 1958, his porcelain sculptures Giraffe and Television Crew were a great success and were selected for the exposition at Expo 58 in Brussels. From 1967 he worked as an associate professor at the Academy of Fine Arts, where he headed the studio of applied sculpture. Among his pupils were Čestmír Suška, Magdalena Jetelová, Martin Zet and Michal Gabriel. He created a number of free and decorative sculptures for North Bohemian cities such as Děčín, Most, Teplice, Ústí nad Labem.
