The sculptural, mostly figurative work of Miloslav Chlupáč, a member of the Máj 57 Group, is characterised by a strong influence of pre-war Cubism and a strong volumetric character. The laconic tin sculpture of a woman's torso accentuates the rustic surface as one dimension of dynamic work with sculptural matter. It was created during the period when he taught at the Salzburg Sculpture Academy. His work is represented, for example, in the collections of the National Gallery in Prague or the Kampa Museum. The work comes from the collection of Jiří Šetlík.
