Relief detail from the National defence monument. The work is reproduced in the magazine Volné směry, No.2, year 1909. The exhibition of Emile Antoine Bourdelle's work in 1909 left certain traces in Prague, and Josef Mařatka, for example, reacted to his work. Émile-Antoine Bourdelle was a French sculptor and painter. Together with Rodin and sculptor Desbois, he founded a sculpture school in Montparnasse.
