This large glass cup reflects the style of Art Deco while referring to the artist's Prague motif cups and the famous St. Wenceslas cup presented to Pope Pius XI. Along the perimeter, the cup is decorated with the coat of arms of the Czechoslovak Republic and heraldry of the Kingdom of Romania and Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes (the head of the Kingdom of SCS was King Alexander I; his wife was Maria Hohenzollern). Important sacral buildings are also depicted; Bohemia is represented by St. Vitus Cathedral and Prague Castle. It is assumed that this large, prestigious cup had been intended as a diplomatic gift. In the original gift case. Signed with the initials "JD" on the bottom. Published in: Art & Antik 2014/12+1, Barbara Svojanovská: Josef Drahoňovský, pp. 86-88.
