Convolute of two copper engravings: the Vyšehrad dedicated to Count Václav Josef of Thun-Hohenstein and the Charles Bridge dedicated to František Josef Pacht of Rájov. An interesting feature of the Vyšehrad engraving is the first Prague lightning rod extending from the walls of Vyšehrad since 1776. Because of the disaster in Brescia, Italy, where a lightning destroyed an ammunition depot with 90 tons of gunpowder and a sixth of the town, Maria Theresa had a lightning rod installed on the roof of the Vyšehrad armoury. It is this technical achievement that is recorded in this valuable engraving, making it a valuable addition for lovers of Prague's history.
