Jan Saudek is rightly called an element, a personality, and his unmistakable style of photography is easily distinguishable at first glance. Studio colored photographs typically depict the female body of all shapes and ages, the motif of the relationship between a woman and a man, love and attraction. In the beginning of his work, he photographed himself and devoted himself to the theme of childhood and the relationship between children and adults, motherhood and fatherhood. In the photographs from the eighties, we can observe the depiction of opposite feelings - love and hate, sincerity and falsehood, beauty and ugliness, youth and old age.
