The entire period of the turn of the 1960s and 1970s is a period of Lhoták's continuing high work activity, when he simultaneously illustrated book publications and at the same time managed to paint approximately 50 pictures a year. He also devoted himself to drawing and graphics. Cubes, pyramids, cones and even zebras with distinctive stripes are Lhoták's reaction to the aesthetic principles of op-art, which he reflected in his paintings and in a non-violent form settled them into a poetic composition as if they had always been there. Work consulted with Libor Šteffek and assigned in Lhoták's list of paintings to the number 1528/41.
