Bohumil Ullrych (1893 - 1948) IN THE CAFE

Bohumil Ullrych excelled in his relaxed and lyrical handwriting, which in the critique of the time gave the impression of idyllic storytelling. Rural motifs or idyllic settings, such as cafés, were often used for this purpose. The dreaminess of the whole motif is complemented by light brush touches in gradual pastel color transitions surrounded by disappearing black contours.
