Vincenc Vingler (1911 - 1981) A HARE

Capturing the psychology of the animal and a distinctive work that departs from traditional human figures perfectly describes the register of the artist Vincent Vingler. He kept his distance from fashionable trends in art and created his own world full of animals. Although his contemporaries were primarily concerned with anthropocentric work and emphasizing the magnificence of the man, Vingler consistently counterbalanced this tendency and did not diminish the importance of the depiction of the animal in art. The work on offer comes from the important collection of the Czech painter Ota Janeček.
