Hoffmeister's drawing style, based on fine, economical and precise pen drawing, emerged in a more or less definitive form in 1925-1927. Adolf Hoffmeister managed to combine both the ideals of the avant-garde and the individuality and demands of the time. He almost never used hatching, shading or lavage. Under the caricature, a pencil notation of the names of the portrayed: Kramář, Dyk, Beneš, Hlaváček. Framed under anti-reflective glass with UV filter.
