The landscape painting depicting a winter landscape with pine trees with touches of sunlight probably belongs to the author's work from Košice. The issue of light and color treatment with a more striking handwriting played an important role in Csordák's handwriting from the 1910s to the 1930s. The work of Ľudovít Csordák is considered in the history of modern art in Slovakia to be a characteristic example of the acceptance of the principles of Impressionism in the Central European area. Ľudovít Csordák was one of the important plein air painters of the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries in Košice. The work is prepared by an expert opinion by PhDr. Katarína Bajcurová CSc. with restorative analysis acad. sculpturer Bedrich Hoffstädter.
