walnut root wood, pear, white brass
48,5 cm (h)
Starting price
The unique table clock was designed and realised by sculptor and teacher Damjan Pešan, known for his collaboration with Joža Plečnik on the first republican realisations at Prague Castle or the figure of Christ and the saints in the Church of the Sacred Heart of the Lord on Jiřího z Poděbrad Square in Prague's Vinohrady district. The stylized female faces depict in the vertical an allegory of the four seasons ending with flying doves. A white brass hoop is set into the carving. Very good condition, one hour hand missing.
