Clear richly cut glass with yellow glaze and hunting motifs is a rare example of period crafts from the Biedermeier period. The shape is intricately profiled, the cups are decorated with engraved motifs of deer and boar hunting. The quality of the engravings is indicated by the authorship of F.A. Pelikan or A. Béhm as leaders in the field of their time. F.A. Pelikan was the most famous of the engravers of the first half of the 19th century, whose works were comparable in quality to the famous Dominik Biemann from Harrachov. Paired goblets in this quality of workmanship were at the time among the very luxurious items that found their clients in the Orient. They are rare in this condition on the auction market.
