For the motifs of laundresses, we can talk about Václav Špála's unique work with a cubist form and accented color as the central expressive elements. The Cubist abbreviation introduces the crystalline movement of the mass of the female body and landscape elements, water and rocks, dynamizes the image into the movement of colored surfaces. The reduction of color to three basic colors - red, blue and white and their shades creates a unique orphic chord - the elemental basis of Špála's idyllic view of the world. On the back described by the author: Pradlena, Design for a window, V. Špála 1920, rewritten by the author on 1922.
