The work Hospodářský dvůr, attributed to Martin Benka, bears a distinctive style of the painting school of Alois Kalvoda. The generously conceived theme of a simple country house in a bright midday light with strong textures is one of the possible trips to the open air, which Alois Kalvoda and his pupils took, and Martin Benka later continued in them independently. The idyllic setting has inspired him many times to create impressive views of cottages with old sheds and fenced gardens. The painting comes from the collection of Václav Laurin (brand Laurin & Klement).
