Statue of a man, praying the noon Angelus, has a life-sized sandstone iteration, which is located on the author's tomb in Kněždub. Franta Úprka worked mostly in Prague, unlike his brother, Jóža Úprka, a painter. Some of his most significant works here include the sculptures of A Bagpiper and an Undine on the western facade of the Municipal House or a allegory of the four seasons on the face of Švehla's College.
