František Kysela (1881 - 1941) THE CONSTELLATIONS IN THE FIRST HOUR OF OUR FREEDOM

The design of the fabric print was created according to the position of the star constellations on October 28, 1918, i.e. the day of the establishment of independent Czechoslovakia. The resulting work was created in 1937 in the factory of textile industrialist Josef Sochor. Josef Sochor founded the Royal Court company in 1904. Thanks to his hard work and tenacity, he soon built a company whose name became a guarantee of quality here and abroad. From the beginning of its existence, mainly cotton fabrics were produced and from 1910 also printed in the factory.
