Rare masterfully crafted empire clock with two patinated feasting putti holding a black-and-gold machine with a working mechanism (often referred to as "blacksmiths") of two figures of a man and a woman pounding on bells on acanthus branches, an Egyptian portrait with starfish below. Enameled dial with Roman numerals and steel hands. The quality of workmanship is extremely rare, table clocks were designed for the most demanding collectors. Machine fully functional, restored.
