The exceptionally well-crafted tortoiseshell table clock with an unprecedented shape with a boulle technique, made of silver with fine lines and an acanthus pattern, is from the prestigious Viennese watchmaking workshop Mayer & Maranzeller, which operated in Vienna from 1831 to 1877. Monthly course, elegant skeleton dial with minute hand and Roman numerals, signed by watchmaker, with engraved serial number: No. 104, in a hoop with engraved gilded brass, shaving hand on a pendulum. Original glass cloche on a mahogany base. Already at the time of its creation, this model represented the pinnacle of the representative equipment of European aristocratic residences. Restored.
