Enrico Baj was an Italian artist known for his political collages, prints, paintings and sculptures. His work was influenced by social issues and science, including nuclear war, the pseudophilosophy of 'pataphysics, and human sexuality, which he investigated in abstract children's pictures. Baj studied at the Brera Academy and the University of Milan. At the start of his art career he focused on political dissent and created works that were critical of current issues. His work can be found in the collections of the Art Institute of Chicago, the Museum of Modern Art in New York and Tate Modern in London. This portfolio contains 21 folders of screenprints on handmade paper. The final folder bears a description and is signed "HC baj"; some screenprints feature mixed media (collage – plastic, felt, paper). They are housed in a slipcase covered with white imitation leather and mounted with a Lego board bearing a picture of a head made with Lego bricks. Enrico Baj personally dedicated this copy to sculptor Zdena Fibichová in September 1974. Dedication on the portfolio flap. Published by ROSSEAU EDITEUR - GENEVE.
