The central rectangular field in the colour of black indigo with a central axis in the form of tender trees of life, partially enclosed in flamboyant hexagonal cartouches, shows the perception of the composition by Persian masters in the form of an infinite perspective, which the main border only overlaps and the unenclosed composition seems to continue endlessly. This also explains why the upper and lower parts of the central field in Persian carpets are often different and de facto only accidentally bordered at a certain point by the border, as the format of the carpet just came out in the hand-knotting. In the dark soil, the almost fanciful multi-layered flowers of exuberant shapes are particularly striking, which harmonize very well with the blue lines of the cartouches, typical of Persian art in all its spheres. A charming carpet with a rare design.
