It is also a smaller version of the large statue of Bozena from 1922. Jiří Kotalík writes: "Božena deliberately recalls the type of the girl of full forms, as in the Czech myth of the ruling prince and peasant daughter, which also lives on in paintings and drawings by Josef Bergler and Antonín Machek through Josef Mánes and Petr Maixner to Mikoláš Alš and František Ženíšek, in the course of the years in the degradation of meaning and the refinement of form. The sculptor's idea here accentuates the fullness of forms and rustic health in the neo-classical sleekness of gesture and atvars, expression and detail.
