Cathedrals, visions of the future, dreams and the fantastic. All this pervades the work of Jan Souček, painter, graphic artist and illustrator. He used the historicizing technique of the old masters on large canvases with numerous carefully executed details. At every moment, the author encourages us to search for a story, our own introspection and connecting the past with the future in a related continuum.
