The bronze fire-gilded clock with black-gold sphinxes is supported by paws and a richly decorated base with masterfully chiseled and fire-gilded bronze figural and floral motifs. An eagle with a ring in its beak with an alternating matte and polished effect stands on the clock with its wings outstretched. Enameled dial with Arabic numerals, steel hands, a fully functional blacksmith in the center ring over guilloche brass. The rear shell is made of a masterfully made grid with a floral motif. Signed on the front of the enamel: Carl Wurm in Wien. The quality of workmanship is an extremely rare table clock designed for the most demanding collectors. The machine has a half-beat.
