Jan Kaláb (1978) A BLUE JELLYFISH

Jan Kaláb is a Czech artist based on graffiti and street art. He is one of the first graffiti artists in the Czech Republic, with works in public spaces all over the world. Today the artist has had several exhibitions abroad (in London, Paris, San Francisco, and Miami). The artist's work is accompanied by a constant exploration of new techniques and structures. The works are characterized by geometric morphology, and precise acrylic painting of layered surfaces, thus commenting on the themes of time, depth, and movement. By playing with the shape of the circle, the artist shows the organic and dynamic nature of static canvases.
