Villon is one of the central themes of Jan Bauch's work, where he searched for new artistic outlets. Jan Bauch focuses on the problems of contemporary man and his place in a world full of conflicts and soothing glitter. Restlessness is the source of his inspiration and he refuses to accept the self-preservation position of art, which moves in the direction of beauty and illusion. François Villon liked to mock society and, for example, pastoral poetry written by nobles who drowned in luxury and never knew the countryside. The gesture of the raised hand is just such an upsurge of resistance to pathos. Bauch uses art as a cry for the freedom of the spirit, he does not hide the dark positions of being, the bizarre or the war. We cannot deny the structure of the human face to the work of Villon, which reveals Bauch's love for sculpture.
