The Indian and Buffalo are made of red and white baked clay in a thick thickness modelled as massive creatures reminiscent of the temple's own architecture. The sculptures are a loose extension of the Bludarium, sculptures of wandering creatures inspired by imaginative childhood fantasies within us in their raw and elemental form. The collection of Blouds carries the idea of a critique of senseless transport, felling and consumption of wood beyond local use. The creatures recall the soul of wood that is free. The creatures protect their surroundings, complement the space with their spirit, guard it, keep it company and bring joy. This is a sculptural collection from the studio My Two, a joint project of designers Monika Matějková (1991) and Veronika Watzková (1989); they describe their work as follows. We share a common passion for fantasy worlds, which we unmistakably build with our handwriting. We create with enthusiasm for handwork and authorial interventions of colours and combinations of materials. Craft and story are our cornerstones. Our works are represented in the permanent collections of the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague and Brno. We have had exhibitions organized during Milan Design Week, a traveling presentation of the MINI WONDERS exhibition that traveled to cities such as London, Moscow, Tel Aviv and Tokyo.
