From the expert opinion of PhDr. Naděžda Blažíčková-Horová: "The works could probably be included among the artist's sample books, of which he painted countless. He distributed these sample books, containing small variations of natural shots of similar dimensions to the presented landscapes, among his customers and, according to their choice, processed the marked study into the required format. It was the position of dreamy romanticism that brought Piepenhagen universal popularity." Measures: 14 x 21 cm a 7,5 x 11 cm.
