Wang Yuping (1962) THREE GOLDFISH

Original studio sculpture made of crystal glass with sealed gilded fish made of hollow rose glass. Wang Yuping is one of the leading figures in contemporary Chinese art. He graduated from the Central Academy of Art and Design in Beijing, and has been teaching at the Department of Oil Painting since 1989. His works are currently very popular with collectors due to their playfulness, which is shown by the social environment, urban types and even popular fish. It is the Three Goldfish that are the main motif of the non-traditional sculpture, which deviates from the artist's focus on painting and complements it with a relatively technologically demanding and rare processing.
