The impressive sculpture is the work of a sculptor who has also successfully engaged as a typographer and pedagogue. Jiří Bradáček studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague with prof. Karel Dvořák, he was a member of the group Krok 57. Initially, he worked in the Duchcov porcelain factory Royal Dux, for which he designed small sculptures. In 1958, his porcelain sculptures Giraffe and Television Staff, which were selected for the exhibition at the Brussels Expo 58, were a great success. From 1967, he worked as an associate professor at the Academy of Fine Arts, where he headed the applied sculpture studio. His students included Čestmír Suška, Magdalena Jetelová, Martin Zet and Michal Gabriel. He created a number of free and decorative sculptures for North Bohemian cities such as Děčín, Most, Teplice, Ústí nad Labem. In the spirit of modernism, the presented sandstone sculpture, which bears the typical features of his exterior works, also moves. The offered sandstone sculpture was lent to the North Bohemian Gallery of Fine Arts in Litoměřice for a long time period.
