Jan Šafařík (1886 - 1914) EIN BLICK AUF MONTE CARLO

Fresh and sovereign painting depicting a cliff overlooking Monte Carlo. Today, Jan Šafařík is one of the rediscovered artists who is achieving better and better auction results. He became famous in Bohemia for his paintings and postcards in the nooks and crannies of Prague. After 1909, he settled in Paris, where he managed to establish himself in the official Salons (1910–1914) among the then artistic competition, and this period is considered to be the most valuable in his work.
