Paper abstract composition of a Japanese artist now based in the Philippines. Wataru Sakuma is inspired by simple striking patterns and uses light and shadow in combination with architecture and nature. He uses the most basic materials, such as paper. His respect for nature and the ability to see something beautiful in discarded or overlooked materials gives his works an overlap in the spirit of sustainable creation.
