František Xaver Böhm (1890 - ????) THREE DOES

František Xaver Böhm is in many ways a forgotten author. We have only brief information about his life. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts and, apart from his own work, he was also involved in teaching and publishing theoretical knowledge. He wrote a handbook on perspective and the book Colour in Theory and Practice. His work includes landscapes from the areas mainly in the Třeboň region and the surroundings of Šumperk, he also created modern, in line with the fashion of the early century, poetic to primitivist subjects from the countryside or portraits.
