CERAMIC TANKARD IN GILDED MOUNTING

This rare ceramic vessel, originally a bottle, comes from the famous German ceramic workshops known as Annaberg, today's Dippoldiswalde. In the 19th century, at the owner's request, the mounting was modified from tin to gilded copper to form a corbel. Very good original condition.
