Aleš Novák (1979) FIRE OF ELIJAH

The painting belongs to the cycle of "revelation" in the landscape, a kind of parallel transcendent world breaking into our reality and consciously working with inspiration from classical paintings. Aleš Novák graduated from the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in the atelier of Kurt Gebauer, Dominika Lang and Edit Jeřábková and FA TU Liberec. The diversity of study experience is completed by the uniqueness of the author's artistic expression. In his painting work, he has long been based on the theme of the landscape, which he considers a platform for various series of paintings. In addition to the theme of the landscape, they also reflect an interest in space and an admiration for classical painting. In addition to painting, he also deals with sculpture and installations.
