Jan Štursa is one of the founders of Czech modern sculpture. Rarely we can meet his paintings, which probably had a very personal study character. The work reveals the tendency to dematerialize and the effort to convey the impression of living in the countryside through impression. The work comes from the property of architect Jan Kotěra.
