Vincenc Makovský (1900 - 1966) MARBLE VASE I.

During his studies, Makovský worked in the painting studios of Jakub Obrovsky, Karel Krattner and in the sculpture studios of Bohumil Kafka and Jan Štursa. The marble vase was created at the time when Makovský participated in the founding of the School of Art in Zlín, where he was the chief of the field of shaping machines and tools (today - Industrial design).
