This color advertising poster for Toužimský & Moravec publishing house offers the three-volume historical novel by František Josef Čečetka, Mexický císař (The Emperor of Mexico), published in 1939–1940. Color offset lithograph printed at Československá Akciová Tiskárna in Prague from an oil painting by Zdeněk Burian, which is currently owned by the East Bohemian Gallery in Pardubice. Marked on bottom right.
