The artist's oeuvre is usually characterized as figurative, but in Načeradský's interpretation, the form and manner of portraying the figure was fundamentally transformed. In the 1980s and 90s, human figures, especially female figures, are reduced to a geometric shape. Curious is reminiscent of the human figure only in its title, but leaves Načeradský's line of development and the context of his work intact. The limited colour, bordered in fields, is also typical.
