The artist's oeuvre is distinctive for its broad scope, during which he worked with a number of artistic influences. Still Life with Fruit from 1946 dates from the short period he studied under Vlastimil Rada at the Prague Academy. Clear influences of Expressionism and Cubism are present in the small painting. Oil on canvas, glued to cardboard, signed and dated on bottom left "Bělocvětov 46".
